The White River Knives GTI 3 is a cool, fixed knife designed by Justin Gingrich. This American knife maker served with the US Rangers for ten years. Being an experienced soldier, he knows what a knife should adhere to. This GTI 3 is a perfect example.
Don’t be fooled by its size. A 7.7 cm blade might seem small for a survival knife. However, when you hold the White River GT13 in hand you notice that the design was carefully thought out. The micarta handle has coarse grip grooves to make sure it will even feel great in hand in wet circumstances or while wearing gloves.
The GTI 3 has a blade made from CPM S35VN steel. This is a tough, stainless powder steel with great sharpness retention that is also reasonably easy to sharpen. Because of the high sabre grind, there is blade thickness left on the spine of the blade. This makes sure the blade is nice and strong. To prevent rust the blade is enhanced with an Ionbond-coating.
The White River Knives GTI 3 comes with a kydex sheath. It is also enhanced with a belt loop.
