The Böker Core Professional chef’s knife 16 cm – BO130820 is a practical and stylish small chef’s knife with a blade length of 16 cm. Thanks to this length it is perfect for medium-sized tasks for which a large chef’s knife is too big. With a smaller chef’s knife you will have more control.

Böker Core Professional collection

Böker used 150 years of experience, expertise and craftsmanship while producing the Core Professional collection. Keeping the needs of kitchen enthusiasts and professional chef’s in mind Böker produced this design. The results are knives enhanced with dynamic lines, top-quality materials, excellent ergonomics and breath-taking cutting capabilities.

The blade

The blade of the Böker Core knives is made from X50CrMoV15: German quality steel that is perfect for producing kitchen knives because of the excellent corrosion resistance. Forged by hand in Solingen and hardened up to 58 HRC. Subsequently the blade was enhanced with a satin finish and a razor-sharp polished edge that was applied by hand. The bolster takes care of additional stability but doesn’t extend towards the edge. As such you can easily sharpen the knife yourself.

The handle

The strong POM handle does not absorb fragrances or moisture and can easily be cleaned. As such bacteria don’t stand a chance. The round shape ensures that the handle feels great in hand and that you have a lot of control over the knife.
