The Civivi Baby Banter 2 – TG is a compact and practical EDC knife, designed by Ben Petersen. He envisioned this large version of the Banter as a pocket knife that didn’t need to look like any other pocket knife. People asked him why he didn’t release that unique knife. The cooperation with WE Knife was sought after, and now it is here: the WE Knife Banter. By popular demand, there is now also a smaller version of the Banter: the Civivi Baby Banter. This is the Baby Banter 2 which locks with a crossbar lock, making it accessible to left-handed people and right-handed people.

The TG version of the Baby Banter 2 goes the extra mile with a modified blade shape as well as the addition of tweezers and a toothpick. Ideal if you want a handy pocket knife but not the bulk of a multi-tool. Thanks to the clever storage function in the handle, you now always have a toothpick and tweezers within easy reach too!

With its blade length of 6 cm, it’s a compact pocket knife that effortlessly fits inside your pocket. You can also notice this in the weight of 72 g. You’ll barely notice you’re carrying it with you!



Opening the Civivi Baby Banter 2 – TG C24074-1, Satin 14C28N, Milled Green/Red G10, Tweezers and Toothpick, pocket knife with one hand is very easy thanks to the thumb stud. Once opened, the sturdy Crossbar Lock ensures that the blade is locked and won’t accidentally close during use. A cool feature of this lock is that it can be easily used by both left-handed and right-handed users.

The name ‘Crossbar Lock’ is a generic term for locks of this type. The foundation of this mechanism was the Axis Lock as developed by Benchmade. Today, several manufacturers happily make use of the same mechanism, though sometimes under different names.

The blade of the Civivi Baby Banter 2 – TG C24074-1, Satin 14C28N, Milled Green/Red G10, Tweezers and Toothpick, pocket knife is made of 14C28N. This is an excellent knife steel from Sweden. It is corrosion resistant, retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and easy to sharpen yourself. What more could you possibly want?



The blade of this knife is enhanced with a ‘satin finish’. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.



G10 handle

The Civivi Baby Banter 2 – TG C24074-1, Satin 14C28N, Milled Green/Red G10, Tweezers and Toothpick, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 8.1 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.
