The hole for the set screw on this mount is drilled off-center intentionally. This is to allow the set screw to be tightened against the bottom of the dovetail cut in the slide. This creates an upward force on the dovetail of the mount.*This mount will require a decent amount of fitting to work with the Desert Eagles and is NOT a drop in part on that application.*
