Our HD scope mounts are our premium line ofone piece bases. The steel versions are machined from 4140 Carbon Steel which is Mil-spec parkerized for a durable rust resistant finish.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are also machined the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs maintaining tolerances of +/-.002″.
The full cross slots allow for the use of quick detach rings. This mount is perfect for the heavy hitting calibers such as .338 Lapua, or for the shooter who has to have the highest quality for their application. We recommend using square cross lugs with all picatinny style rings.
