The mount is meant to be centered in the slide. The hole for the set screw on this mount is drilled off-center intentionally. This is to allow the set screw to be tightened against the bottom of the dovetail cut in the slide. This creates an upward force on the dovetail of the mount. The set screw is not intended to go in the hole in the slide.

*This mount will require a decent amount of fitting to work with the Desert Eagles and is NOT a drop in part on that application.*

Our red dot sights are meant to be installed from the left to the right (with the muzzle facing forward). The dovetail has a progressive taper to allow for easier install.
