EK Archery Vlad Crossbow: a tactical crossbow with an 8-bolt magazine

Launched in October 2022, the EK Archery Vlad crossbow is the direct competitor to the Steambow Stinger AR-6 as it fires bolts of the same weight/size and with different bow powers. However, it’s worth noting that the VLAD is heavier and bulkier, which is an advantage when you like having something stable in your hands.

It is one of the crossbows that are equipped with a foldable stock used for cocking. It has an 8-bolt magazine that can be easily and quickly filled thanks to an included quickloader. To empty it, you’ll need 3 seconds per bolt, or about 26 seconds total. The VLAD also comes with a 60 lbs bow and a 90 lbs bow. For optimal use, the first one ensures easy cocking, while the second offers greater range and power (equivalent to 19 joules). This VLAD crossbow features a lightweight aluminum red dot sight that is easy to use in all circumstances.
