Fenix E18R V2.0 rechargeable LED flashlight

The Fenix E18R V2.0 is a really impressive flashlight. Ultra compact, yet powerful. Its predecessor already had an output of 750 lumens, but this V2.0 has an impressive output of 1300 lumens! And all of from a flashlight small enough to carry in your pocket or on your key-chain.
In addition, the E18R V2.0 is waterproof and dustproof according to the IP-68 norm. It is also shock-resistant up until 1.5 meters. Thanks to the magnetic bottom, you can easily attach the light to metal surfaces. Practical during chores or when your car breaks down.

Charging the Fenix E18R V2.0
The E18R works with two battery-sources: the recommended rechargeable 16340-battery (included) or a CR123 as back-up or for temperatures below 0 degrees.
The included Fenix ARB-L16-700P 16340 Li-ion battery has a capacity of 700mAh and provides a high, constant power. The lamp is rechargeable with the included USB-c charging cable.

Prevent deeply-discharged batteries
Are you not planning to use your flashlight for a while? In that case, it’s best to unscrew the tailcap (the bottom end of the handle) a few turns. This will prevent your battery from becoming too deeply discharged, which can happen if the circuit of the battery stays in contact with the flashlight without being used or recharged in the meantime.A deeply discharged battery cannot always be revived and recharged, which would be a shame!

Do you have a flashlight with a built-in battery? Then make sure to charge your flashlight at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This prevents the battery from becoming too deeply discharged, and it’s also good for the lifespan of your battery!

The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.
