Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 Nebula, rechargeable head torch, 1600 lumens

The Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 Nebula head torch was upgraded to become the most comfortable hands-free head torch on the market. This head torch is suitable for challenging outdoor sports like mountain biking, climbing or trail running. This is the new and improved version of the popular HM65R head torch. With the Fenix HM65R-T V2.0, you benefit from several advantages, such as longer battery life and the ability to recharge. Moreover, the HM65R-T V2.0 also offers a new feature: Instead of the spotlight/light combination of the HM65R, the V2.0 version now has both cool white light and warm light. The cool white light delivers maximum output, while the warm light provides better visibility in foggy conditions.

The new SPORT-fit headband is also larger, has an improved dial for better adjustment and includes a built-in emergency whistle. Combined with a weight of 140 grams and a burn time of up to 300 hours this head torch is perfect for challenging outdoor sports such as trail running or mountain biking. The light can handle a fall from a height of up to 2 metres, is water-resistant with an IP68 rating and works at temperatures between -35 ℃ and 45 ℃.

How to use the Fenix HM65R-T V2.0

With the two different switches you can control both beams independently. These beams have a combined 1500 lumens. Both switches were designed in a way that allows you to easily use them while wearing gloves. One switch controls the broad beam, the other the focused beam. By holding one of the switches down you turn on the light. The light will immediately start in the mode last used. To switch beams or modes you briefly press the preferred switch.

High: 1600 lumens, 170 metres, burn time of approx. 3 hours
Med: 400 lumens, 83 metres, burn time of approx. 12 hours

Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 lock-out mode

You don’t want the light to accidentally turn on while you are on the road. To ensure it doesn’t, you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the head torch needs to be turned on. At that moment you will press both switches about three seconds. The head torch won’t turn on now. To deactivate this mode you press both switches again.

Charging the Fenix HM65R-T V2.0

You can easily charge the light via the USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the flashlight is protected against water and dust. It prevents the USB port from being damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A blue charging indicator will show you the charging status. It will take up to 3 hours to charge the battery. As soon as it is fully charged the indicator will burn continuously.

Intelligent protection

If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.
