Fenix PD32R rechargeable LED torch, 1400 lumens

The powerful Fenix PD32R torch is an upgraded rechargeable successor to the Fenix PD32. It has an output of 1400 lumens thanks to the Luminus SFT40 LED and runs on either one 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. The deep reflector gives you a focused beam.

How to use the Fenix PD32R

You can control the Fenix PD32R with the soundless switch on the back. Press this switch to turn the light on or off. By pressing it halfway you can switch between the four light modes. You activate the stroboscope function by pressing the switch for half a second, even when the light is turned off. Because of the two grooves in the back the Fenix PD32R can also be used as reading light in combination with a diffuser.

The Fenix PD32R is enhanced with four light modes:

Turbo: 1400 lumens, 344 metres, 2 hours and 20 minutes, 29588 candela
High: 350 lumens, 4 hours and 25 minutes, 7691 candela
Medium: 100 lumens, 16 hours, 2121 candela
Low: 20 lumens, 70 hours, 439 candela
Strobe: 1400 lumens The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

Accessories for the Fenix PD32R

The Fenix PD32R comes with a 18650 battery, case, wrist strap, 2x spare o-ring, USB Type-C cable, an instruction manual and a warranty card. These torches often come with a protective cover over the battery. Please make sure to remove it before first use.

Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. Even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!
