Fenix TK20R UE Desert Camo, rechargeable flashlight, 2800 lumens

The Fenix TK20R Ultimate Edition Desert Camo is a rechargeable LED flashlight with a very powerful beam. It’s the perfect light for situations where a compact spotlight is preferred. This could include search and rescue and inspection work. The Fenix TK20R UE is the updated version of the Fenix TK20R. It has a higher lumen output, a longer burn time and it can reach greater lengths. The flashlight also has a new FlexiSensa tactical switch. It can be rotated to access three different functions. Locked, standard mode and tactical mode. The strobe and turbo modes are immediately accessible. An intelligent memory recalls the most recently-used mode. Fenix TK20R UE: deep reflector, hefty beam!

The head of the light is enhanced with a deep reflector. Impressive for a light this size. The 2800 lumens of the Luminus SFT70 LED are bundled into a strong beam of light with a range of up to 465 metres. This beam can be used in five light modes plus a strobe mode. Changing the modes is easy using the button on the back of the flashlight.

Charging the Fenix TK20R UE

The Fenix TK20R UE draws its power from the included Fenix 21700 battery with an output of 5000mah. A very practical feature of this flashlight is its ability to recharge. The included battery can be recharged without having to take it out of the flashlight. This means you don’t have to unscrew the whole thing to change a battery. You charge the Fenix TK20R UE with the included USB-c cable. As this USB port is well-protected, this light is fully waterproof with an IP68 rating. When the LED light on the side of the lamp head turns green, the torch is fully charged.

Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. In fact, even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!

Do you have a torch with built-in battery where you cannot remove the battery? Make sure to charge the light at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This also prevents the battery from discharging too deeply, and it is good for the lifespan of your battery!

Turbo: 2800 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours
High: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours and 15 minutes
Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 9 hours
Low: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 40 hours
Strobe: 2800 lumens

The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.
