In addition to the hard non-stick coating the Adamant collection is enhanced with a famous Fissler CookStar base. The thick, 6 mm, base has a high thermal conductivity. The result is that the pans quickly heat up, evenly distribute the heat and also retain it for a long time. This base can be used on all different heat sources. As such the Fissler Adamant pans can also be used on induction hobs. Because of the thick CookStar base you can easily switch between different heat sources. Without the bottom warping, something that sometimes happens with less quality pans.
