The Fissler Vitaquick 602-410-04-000-0 is a practical pressure cooker with a diameter of 22 centimetres and a maximum capacity of 4.5 litres. It’s a medium-sized pressure cooker that is suitable for soup, chilli, risotto, pasta, curry and stew dishes for about 4 to 6 people.

Why a pressure cooker?

You use a pressure cooker when you want to shorten the cooking time of a specific dish. A stew that would take ages to cook will be finished a lot sooner in a pressure cooker, for instance. Complete control over the cooking process

The Vitaquick pressure cookers are enhanced with four cooking levels which you choose with the help of the knob on top of the pan. That way, you’ll have complete control over the cooking process. From gentle to fast cooking, from low to high pressure, you decide. The lowest mode is great for delicate dishes such as fish. Many meat dishes are great for higher temperatures. What’s unique about this collection is that these are the only pressure cookers with a steam mode. By setting it to the steam mode, you don’t exert pressure in the pan. This pressure cooker comes with a steam insert you can use for this mode.

Clever design of the Vitaquick pans

Thanks to the clever design, these Fissler pans are easy to use and to maintain. For example:

A handle that was designed as such that it feels great in hand, but also won’t easily slip from your hands if they are wet.
A second small handle attached to the pan to make sure holding it becomes even easier.
The handle can be folded for easy storage.
The lid of the pan can be removed when you clean it.
The insides of the pan contain capacity measurements.
If you own multiple different-sized pans, or if you own a pressure cooker you can stack them.

The pans are dishwasher proof, with the exception of the handles, rubber seal and knob.

18/10 stainless steel

The pans are made from top-quality 18/10 steel. This number represents the percentage of chromium and nickel in the material: 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Chromium is very sustainable and corrosion resistant. It is what prevents the steel from rusting. The nickel ensures that the pans retain their shine and don’t become dull.
