Fox was able to achieve this by removing the flipper and replacing the framelock by the slipjoint mechanism. As such the knife looks friendly and is legal for carry in the United Kingdom. Hence the ‘UK’ in the name.

The knife was designed by Jesper Voxnaes. The shape of the blade and the elongated thumb hole immediately betray the hand of this Danish master designer.
