The Gränsfors Bruk maintenance set provides everything you need to keep your axe in top condition. With the right care and attention, your axe will last for years. This set contains a tin of leather grease to protect and maintain the sheath, a protective linseed oil for the haft and axe head, and a sharpening stone to keep the axe’s edge sharp.

The oil is made from pure linseed oil from Sweden. When you apply the oil to the handle, it forms a protective layer that significantly prolongs the lifespan of the wood. The linseed oil is also ideal for treating the axe head, to make it more corrosion resistant. The leather wax, also produced in Sweden, is composed of 100% natural ingredients. Using the wax will extend the lifespan of the sheath, make the leather water-repellent and keep it supple. The ceramic sharpening stone has a coarse and a fine side, so your axe will always be sharp and ready to use.

Caution: cloth or other porous materials soaked in this linseed oil have a risk of self-ignition. Before disposal, ensure they are burnt, air-dried in a safe open space, or kept immersed in water.
