Gray Archery Arcum barebow riser: ready to use for barebow
The Gray Archery Arcum barebow riser incorporates a unique flat face design that facilitates the placement of weights on the left, right or center of the riser using 13 x 5/16 unf threaded holes. The goal was to create a light yet strong structure, and what better way than to take inspiration from nature? The Arcum is inspired by the hollow structure of bird bones and the vascular structures of bamboo. This unique weight reduction method allows users to have 8 weight attachment points on the lower riser window, without compromising strength. The upper riser window has three clicker attachment points as well as four 5/16 unf Berger button holes that give the barebow archer even more options for arrow adjustment and release. The Arcum represents a new change in barebow riser design. The Arcum was designed to be ready to shoot with a bare take down recurve bow, with a weight of 1550g. No additional weight is needed for an intermediate barebow archer, as the Arcum’s center of mass is 8 mm ahead of the AIX V3 riser and 17 mm lower. This system makes this riser a heavy riser designed to be shot first with a barebow and then with an Olympic recurve bow.
