The blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough tool steel that stays sharp for a long time and is also easy to sharpen. Just be careful with acids, water and other types of moisture, because D2 is not completely corrosion-resistant. If you take very good care of it, you have a fantastic steel in D2. The blade has a stonewash finish. A good finish for people who actually use their knives. This is because the fine scratches of the stonewashed finish mask any traces of use.

Heckler & Koch SFP handle

The handle is made from polypropylene with rubber inlays and finger grooves for optimal grip. As mentioned before, this is the same design and material that H&K SFP handles are made from. There is a deep-carry pocket clip on the handle, so the knife stays firmly in your pocket or on your trousers.
