Hogue EX-F01 5.5″ G-Mascus Green, A2-steel, 35178 fixed knife

The Hogue EX-F01 is a robust fixed knife. The blade is made from A2 tool steel. A type of steel that is only partially corrosion resistant. Fortunately the KG 2400 GUN-KOTE coating protects the knife from rust. The edge, however, does need a bit of TLC once in a while. Fortunately, this is more than compensated for by the toughness of this type of steel. As such it is a popular type of steel or combat knives.

The handle of this knife is enhanced with stunning G10. Rock-solid and lightweight. In terms of ergonomic shape it offers the user a lot of grip. The knife is produced in the United States and the finish is very good.

The EX-F01 comes in a luxurious MOLLE compatible sheath. It is made from solid nylon with a plastic insert. Thanks to the different mounting methods you can carry the knife any way you like.
