The Lansky Eraser Block is intended for cleaning sharpening steels. The block feels relatively soft. Comparable to an eraser.
The ceramic material of these steels is by use contaminated with metal particles. You can remove these particles with this practical block, after which the steels will be as new again. After erasing, eraser residue may be left behind on the steels. We recommend wiping these away before you use the steels again!
With this block you can also remove hard-to-remove stains from, for instance, metal and ceramics. It helps to make the block wet.
