This Maglite XL50 LED-torch is quite a tactical model, compared to the other torches from the LED-series. You can select one of the three light modes by using the tactical pressure switch at the back of the torch. One of these light modes is a strobe function. This can be used to blind or desorient any opponent. The beam has an adjustable focus, so you can determine in each situation if you need a bigger range or a more diffused beam.
