The Marttiini Suomi-Finland 548018W is a beautifully designed traditional fixed-blade knife from Finland. The origins of this style of knife go back more than 20 years. When Finland celebrated the 80th anniversary of its independence in 1997, Marttiini naturally released a special knife in its honour. The knife was redesigned in 2009. At the end of the handle is the Finnish Lion cast in bronze, with which the knife bears the strong spirit of Finnish determination with which their ancestors managed to secure the country’s independence. The lion is also depicted on the black leather sheath. This knife was presented to Finnish athletes at several Olympic Games. Known as the ‘Stamina knife’ (Sisupuukko in Finnish), it is a mark of respect for showing exceptional perseverance. This knife comes in a nice wooden gift box.
