The Maxpedition Prepared Citizen Classic v2.0 is a very good backpack for daily use. Its capacity of 22 litres is more than enough for daily use. You could, however, also easily use it when you go camping for the weekend.

The Maxpedition Prepared Citizen Classic V2.0 has one large main compartment with padding on the bottom, a laptop compartment with padding, a closed inside compartment and two closed front pockets. The large main compartment is enhanced with a carabiner (to hang your flashlight from, for instance), and three individual compartments which can come in handy when you need to store your keys, wallet or pen. The front compartment is enhanced with velcro on the inside to make sure you can attach different Hook & Loop attachments. On the sides of the back panel you can find two zippers that will lead to a hidden compartment. The inside of this compartment was also enhanced with velcro to make sure you attach different Hook & Loop attachments (individually sold).

Material used for the Maxpedition Prepared Citizen Classic V2.0

The outside of the backpack is made from extra-strong Teflon-coated 1000 denier nylon. The material looks great and feels solid. The backpack was impregnated to make sure dirt and moisture don’t stand a chance. As such the bag is waterproof and wear and tear resistant. Of course the zippers are made from YKK.

Design of the Maxpedition Prepared Citizen collection

The Maxpedition Prepared Citizen collection is, like the Entity collection, designed as a backpack that, on the inside, should function like any other tactical Maxpedition bag. On the outside, however, the bags look like top-quality backpacks without the tactical look and feel. It kind of looks like a simple school bag. As such the Maxpedition Prepared Citizen is perfect for anyone who loves the unparalleled quality and ingenuity of Maxpedition, but isn’t a fan of the tactical look.
