Nitecore CI7, 2500 lumens

The Nitecore Ci7 flashlight, enhanced with both infrared and white light is extremely tactical. The four SST-10-IR LED lights and four CREE XP-GS S3 LED lights make this light unique. Specifically designed for law enforcement and police, but also for soldiers. This was also taken into account for the entire design. Robust, compact and very easy to use. Even if you are wearing thick gloves you can easily control this light.

To change between these two light beams Nitecore came up with an easy solution. You push the head of the light out and turn it a quarter turn. From that moment you will always have the right amount of light close. The white LED lights cannot be turned on accidentally. Perfect during situations when you use infrared light and don’t want to be noticed.

With 7000mW the tactical infrared beam is perfect for night vision equipment and IR-cameras. The IR beam ensures that you maintain your night vision. Perfect for night observations, rescue missions or while hunting.

Low: 1000mW, burn time of approx. 9 hours

White light beam on the Nitecore CI7

But the white light beam will also definitely surprise you. With four CREE XP-GS S3 LED lights the turbo mode produces an output of 2500 lumens. With it you will be prepared for all sorts of tactical situations. Even in extreme circumstances.

Ultra-low: 8 lumens, burn time of approx. 130 hours

Practical functions of the Nitecore CI7

But that is not all. The tactical switch of the Nitecore Ci7 has a momentary-on function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. You easily select the desired light mode via the second switch (MODE).

With this light you can choose between two modes: the ‘Daily Mode’ or ‘Tactical Mode’. In order to switch between these two modes the light needs to be turned off. First you loosen the back. You hold the switch down and secure the back. The light will blink once or twice. Once means ‘Daily Mode’ and twice means ‘Tactical Mode’.

The basis of these light functions remains the same, but there are, of course, differences between these two modes.

Nitecore Ci7 Daily Mode

With the MODE button you can immediately turn the stroboscope mode on. The light, however, needs to be turned off to do so. By first pressing down the MODE switch and then the tactical switch the strobe will continue to function.

Do you use this function while the light is turned on? If so the light will temporarily use the turbo-mode. As soon as you release the switch it will return to the mode last used.

Nitecore Ci7 Tactical Mode

This light is enhanced with an instant stroboscope function in this mode. As soon as you hold the MODE switch down the light will temporarily function in the stroboscope mode. Release the switch and the light will immediately be turned off.

But even if the light is turned on this mode is different. As soon as you press the MODE button, the light will temporarily function in the stroboscope mode. Thanks to the memory of the light it will always start with the mode last used. The same applies to the stroboscope mode. It makes it extra appealing to, for instance, safety personnel or police.
