Nitecore EDC33 rechargeable 4000 lumens powerful EDC torch

The Nitecore EDC33 is an extremely powerful EDC torch. Only very rarely do you see a torch that is only 11.5 cm long, yet offers 4000 lumens of brightness! Nitecore developed this torch for everyday use, so you can easily carry it in your pocket, and use it whenever you need it.

With this purpose in mind, Nitecore added some important features. For example, the lock-out function which makes sure the light won’t accidentally turn on. Nitecore has made sure that you can also use the torch well for self-defence. At the press of a button, you have 4000 lumens of LUMINSHIELD at your disposal which can be used to completely overwhelm someone in case of an emergency. The torch has the following light modes:

A strong battery is required to guarantee this extreme light output. That is why Nitecore came up with a novelty: this torch comes with a 18650 battery that has a capacity of up to 4000mAh! That’s 400mAh more than the heaviest we’ve seen from an 18650 so far. This ensures this torch is a compact little powerhouse.

Light output is provided by 1 central LED, surrounded by 8 smaller LEDs. In normal circumstances, you only use the central LED, the so-called SEARCH mode. The additional LEDs come into play with the other light modes.

To prevent the torch from overheating due to the large amount of energy it emits, a sensor was added. This detects whether you are getting too close to an object that could cause the torch to overheat. Does the smart sensor detect that this is the case? Then it switches off automatically to prevent damage.

The torch comes with a handy pocket clip and a wrist strap, so you won’t lose it. Recharge it using the included USB-C cable.
