Nitecore NU21 Arctic White, rechargeable head torch, 360 lumens

The Nitecore NU21 Arctic White retains the classic design with a total weight of 44 grams. It is equipped with a double ultra-efficient UHE LED, with a maximum output of 360 lumens and a range of 58 metres. You charge the NU21 using the USB-C charging port. The glow-in-the-dark headband, which also reflects light, makes this head torch an excellent choice for trail runners, night athletes and people in general who put safety first. The NU21 is also enhanced with an extra white light and red light. This extra CRI LED (20 lumens) illuminates nearby areas without excessive battery consumption. CRI (Colour Rendering Index) means colour rendering index where the maximum value is 100. The additional red LED provides up to 5 lumens for maintaining night vision for e.g. wildlife observation, stargazing, emergency response and night photography.

The primary LED has 4 light modes and an SOS function that also functions as a beacon while the CRI LED has 1 mode. The red LED has 2 modes and also a flashing function. The housing is made of polycarbonate and the lamp is waterproof according to IP66 and has a drop resistance of 1 metre. The supplied headband is lightweight and has reflective and glow-in-the-dark properties. The NU21 runs on a built-in Li-Ion battery (500 mAh) that fully charges in less than 1.5 hours via the USB-C connector and the included USB-C charging cable. The torch also features 4 power indicators to show remaining battery power. You can also simply lock the torch when not in use by holding both buttons until you see a quick flash of light. To undo this, press and hold both buttons again until the light turns on.
