Nitecore TM9K Pro tactical flashlight, 9900 lumens

The Nitecore TM9K Pro tactical flashlight is a compact powerhouse. The three NiteLab UHi 40 MAX LEDs provide an incredible output of 9900 lumens with a combined beam. In combination with a length of 12.5 cm this is truly unheard of! As such the light is great for self-defence, search ops, rescue missions and for law enforcement.

How to use the Nitecore TM9K Pro

The switch on the Nitecore TM9K Pro can also easy be used while wearing gloves. The tactical switch has a momentary-on function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you press it down completely the light will continue to burn. With the second switch (MODE) you select the desired light mode. When you hold the MODE button down you activate the turbo mode. By releasing the switch you immediately return to the mode last used.

Turbo: 9900 lumens
Search: 6000 lumens
High: 2000 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours
Mid: 500 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours
Low: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 17 hours
Ultra low: 30 lumens, burn time of 66 hours

After 2-3 minutes of the highest light modes, the lamp automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

Nitecore TM9K Pro Lock Out mode

Of course, you don’t accidentally want the light to turn on. To ensure it doesn’t, you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the flashlight needs to be turned on. First you press down the MODE button, after which you press the tactical switch. Release them both at the same time. The light will confirm the mode by flashing one more time. Now the flashlight will never burn if you don’t want it to. To deactivate this mode you click the MODE button three times. The light will then start in the light mode last used.

Charging the Nitecore TM9K Pro

The Nitecore TM9K Pro contains a built-in, 21700 Li-Ion battery (5000mAh). Because the battery is built-in, you never have to exchange the batteries. In addition, the light is better protected against water and dust damage. Want to know how full the battery is? As soon as you use the switch the battery indicator will blink up to four times. Four times means full, one time means almost empty. This way you can quickly see the battery status.

The head of the light contains a USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the flashlight is protected against water and dust. It prevents the USB port from being damaged. It will take up to 5 hours before the battery is completely charged.

The Nitecore TM9K comes with a pocket clip, wrist strap, USB-C charging cable and a nylon holster.

Intelligent protection

If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops, the light will switch back to the turbo mode.
