Otter Tafel olive wood stainless steel table knife 12.5 cm

The Otter table knife olive wood is perfect for spreading butter, jam and other tasty spreads on your sandwich. The rounded tip of the blade makes smooth and even spreading of sandwich spreads very easy. With a blade length of 12.5 cm, this knife is also perfect for scraping out empty jars. The knife is razor-sharp and therefore also suitable for cutting sausages, cheese and soft bread.

The handle is made from olive wood. This is a light brown wood with a wild grain and dark brown lines. Please note: wood is a natural product, so each knife is unique! Olive wood is an oil-rich type of wood and is naturally water-repellent, however, it is not dishwasher-safe. After use, wash the table knife by hand.

History of Otter

Otter Messer was founded around 1840 in a small house on the Königsmühle in Solingen. The Berns brothers built a traditional water-powered grinding mill here. Over the years, Otter has managed to hold on to their traditional past. The name Otter comes from the fish otters that used to live on the banks of the streams and rivers in the Bergisches Land. The small business is now owned by Frank Rommel, a true enthusiast who is upholding Otter’s name.
