The Petzl Bindi E102AA00 head torch is very light at just 35 grams and fits in the palm of your hand. With an output of 200 lumens, this torch is ideal for tasks around the house, camping, or for evening walks in the dark. You can also use this torch when you’re going for a bike ride or a walk. You can charge this head torch via the included USB cable. The thin head band is easily adjustable so it’s suitable for every head, and it can also be worn around the neck.

The Bindi E102AA00 has an IPX4 rating. This means that the head torch is splash-proof. You can use the torch when it’s raining, but you cannot submerge it in water. The torch can handle rain showers, snow, or sweat.

How to use the Petzl Bindi E102AA00

The Petzl Bindi E102AA00 offers three white light levels and two red LED modes: steady or flashing mode. You can change it with just one push of a button, depending on the situation. Briefly press the switch to turn the light on and to cycle through the different light modes. The torch starts in the least bright light mode. After going through all the light modes, the torch turns off. If you press the power button for half a second, the red light is activated.

The light from the Bindi E102AA00 is strong enough to illuminate a distance of up to 36 metres. If you choose the low mode of 5 lumens, the Bindi will burn for a very long time. In addition, in this mode you use the battery capacity to its full extent. If you select the highest mode, the head torch will supply you with 200 lumens and a burn time of up to 2 hours.
