Petzl PIXA 2 headlamp E78BHB-2, ATEX

The Petzl PIXA 2 head torch is a top-quality torch. This ATEX head torch has a maximum light output of 60 lumens and a range of 15 metres. Great about the Petzl PIXA 2 is the lens in front of the LED light of which a part functions for reach and another for a spread beam. As such you can use the Petzl PIXA 2 to its full extent!

The torch is ATEX certified for zone 2/22. As such the light can be used in potentially explosive surroundings. Because of the plastic casing, this torch is relatively lightweight. The light comes with an additional clip to make sure you can mount it on a helmet.

The Petzl PIXA 2 is enhanced with two light modes that are easily accessible via the rotary knob on the side. This torch meets the IP67 waterproof standard. This means that it can be kept 1 metre underwater for approx. 30 minutes. The back-up burn time is unique. If the batteries are about to run out, the head torch will automatically switch back to make sure you will never be left in the dark.

There are many different levels of ATEX certification. The Petzl PIXA 2 has the following certifications: II 3 GD Ex nA ic IIB T4 Gc / tc IIIC T135°C Dc.

The casing is made from explosion-proof and anti-static plastic. This means there is no risk of sparks if you drop it. The yellow colour makes it easy to find under any circumstances.
