The Real Steel Sacra is a cool EDC pocket knife with a tactical look and feel. The knife is perfect for daily use but can also handle the more demanding tasks. Nevertheless, the knife is lightweight and therefore easy to carry in your pocket throughout the day.




The Real Steel Sacra TAC 7712C, K110 Plain Coyote G10, pocket knife is a nice EDC pocket knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 8.3 cm, this knife is ideal for easy carrying. When closed, it’s only 10.3 cm long, and it weighs 80 g.



Opening the Real Steel Sacra TAC 7712C, K110 Plain Coyote G10, pocket knife with one hand is very easy thanks to the thumb stud. Once opened, the sturdy Crossbar Lock ensures that the blade is locked and won’t accidentally close during use. A cool feature of this lock is that it can be easily used by both left-handed and right-handed users.

The name ‘Crossbar Lock’ is a generic term for locks of this type. The foundation of this mechanism was the Axis Lock as developed by Benchmade. Today, several manufacturers happily make use of the same mechanism, though sometimes under different names.



Blade made of K110 steel
The blade of the Real Steel Sacra TAC 7712C, K110 Plain Coyote G10, pocket knife is made of K110 steel. This is a different name for the well-known D2 steel, except K110 is made by Böhler.

D2 is a tool steel that has been used for all kinds of cutting tools since World War II. It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well. Just be careful with moisture and acids: D2 is not completely corrosion resistant. It can therefore discolour or even rust if you don’t take good care of it. So clean and dry it after use, and apply a drop of oil once in a while.



The blade is enhanced with a coating. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not specified which type of coating has been applied, however, what we do know is that a coating generally protects against corrosion. However, it is always possible for the coating to start showing traces of use after a while, such as scratches. This is normal wear and tear that gives your knife character.



G10 handle

The Real Steel Sacra TAC 7712C, K110 Plain Coyote G10, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 10.3 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.



About the designer, Jakub Wieczorkiewicz
The designer of this knife is Jakub Wieczorkiewicz, better known by the name Poltergeist. He is one of the most prolific knife designers today.
