Rick Hinderer Pivot Screw Copper, XM-18 3″

This Rick Hinderer Pivot Screw Copper is a nice pivot screw to pimp your 3” version Rick Hinderer XM18!

Rick Hinderer is one of the few producers who actively encourages you to change parts on his knives. In fact, his slogan is: “Your knife, your Hinderer knife”. Hardware sets like this are a relatively cheap way of updating the design of your knife.

Please note: this pivot screw can ONLY be used on the 3” version of the Rick Hinderer XM-18. Other pivot screws are available for the other sizes.

Always make sure to use suitable tools when taking the knife apart. The handle screws are American and require a 1/16” Allen bit. The mounting screw of the lockbar stabilizer requires a .050 Allen bit. To prevent scratches on the screws, we recommend placing a piece of plastic bag in between the bit. This material will form a patina over time. This can even start happening in the box! As a result, the hardware set will be entirely unique.
