Roselli Opening Knife R161 Round Tip, leather sheath, hunting knife

The Roselli Opening Knife is a special fixed knife, produced in Finland. Designed for hunting purposes, and specifically when ‘opening’ poultry and fish, to remove the intestines. Specialist, but very practical for that target group. The round tip ensures that you don’t accidentally pierce through the intestines.



Roselli carbon steel


The blade is made from carbon steel with a hardness of 60 HRC. Rock-solid and easy to sharpen. Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. It will discolour. After use, clean and dry the blade and add a few drops of oil every now and then. In term a patina will form on the blade, making the knife your own.



The handle is made from stunning curly birch wood. It is a type of birch wood enhanced with a stunning pattern. As such each knife is unique. A typical Scandinavian material, appreciated by enthusiasts worldwide. The great thing about curly birch is that it is relatively light-weight.



This knife comes with a simple leather sheath with belt loop. The maximum belt width is 4.4 cm.
