The Skerper Sink Bridge sharpening stone holder, SA002 is an indispensable accessory when sharpening your knives with sharpening stones. This adjustable bamboo wood sharpening stone holder can be placed over the sink to make sure the water will fall directly into the sink. Never worry about a wet table or work surface again!

Adjustable, versatile and practical

By loosening the two butterfly screws at the base of the sharpening stone holder you can easily slide the sharpening stone holder in or out. The holder will fit over a sink of 37 to 54 cm in length and has enough room for a 5 to 24 cm sharpening stone. More than enough for most sinks and sharpening stones. The sharpening stone holder is enhanced with rubber feet to make sure you can also easily use the holder on the table!

Bamboo wood

Bamboo doesn’t absorb any water and is therefore the perfect material for a sharpening stone holder. In addition, bamboo is an incredibly sustainable type of wood. The only thing bamboo plantations need is sunlight and water. Within a couple of weeks the bamboo stems are ready to be harvested. After the harvest the plants stay in place and continue to grow until the next harvest.

Maintenance of the Skerper Sink Bridge

Because of the bamboo maintenance is actually not necessary. To keep the sharpening stone holder in great condition we do, however, recommend you to clean it after use and dry it properly. The screws are made from stainless steel. If these, however, start to rust you can easily replace them.
