Spyderco Military 2 Black C36GPBK2 Black G10, pocket knife

The Spyderco Military 2 Black C36GPBK2 is a large and sturdy pocket knife for various applications. This knife was designed in 1996 by Sal Glesser, the founder and owner of Spyderco. His goal was to develop a light-weight folding knife for general military use which could actually handle the task. Considering the popularity of the Military he was very successful in achieving his goals. The Military 2 is a variation of the first version. The first version has a linerlock, but this model has a compression lock on the back of the knife.

The Military 2 is a relatively large folding knife which, with a weight of 120 grams, can only be called light-weight. The 10-cm long flat-ground blade can easily be opened with one hand. Thanks to the large thumb hole this is a piece of cake, even while wearing gloves. The blade is locked with an incredibly reliable compression lock.

The handle is made of ergonomically shaped G10. This is a nearly indestructible glass fibre laminate which guarantees excellent grip under almost all conditions. The knife is equipped with a pocket clip that can be mounted to the knife in four different ways.
