Target Tech foam target with wooden frame: hard-wearing and high-performance

As with all laminated foam targets, care must be taken when the Target Tech foam target with wooden frame gets wet. To manufacture this foam target, the manufacturers have developed a compression machine that forces the superimposed foam sections against each other throughout the assembly process. This "pre-loading" exerts tension on the targets, making the foam layers much more resistant to use. Each target is pre-compressed to a minimum of 2,000 kg (depending on size) and held under tension by Kevlar-reinforced strapping.
