The blade of the Chapter 2 is made of CPM S35VN steel, a high-quality powdered steel. This is a significant upgrade over the blade of the original Chapter, which was made of D2 tool steel. While D2 is not a bad steel, S35VN offers superior sharpness retention and is much more resistant to corrosion. These features make the Chapter 2 considerably more practical and user-friendly than its predecessor. This version features a black PVD coating for a cool look.

Titanium handle

The handle is made from titanium. One of the improvements is the pocket clip, now made of milled titanium. This has been moved from a ‘tip down carry’ to a ‘tip up carry’, making carrying the pocket knife even more comfortable.
